My name is Christina Marie. I am a music enthusiast from Colorado, USA.

I was the youngest in a large family. We were all classically trained and played musical instruments at a young age. I grew up attending countless recitals and concerts. I played the piano, cello, guitar and drums. My family, especially my aunt and uncle, exposed me to many types of music. I never pursued music professionally, but music has formed my life.

I actively expand my musical palate. I’ve been through a whole slew of favorite genres. As I grow my music grows with me. Music has been my best friend and at times my only friend. I love it – I love discovering why I love it. I love showing it to others.

I also have a passion for history. I love discovering why things are and who was brave enough to change things. As my musical world expands, so does my mind. I’m fascinated by the stories of music production that have the ability to move us as much as the music itself.

I am using this blog to create a historical record of what music impacted my life. History creates us. Learning from it is invaluable. May my writings and music bring joy into your story.
